DFC receives fantastic response at Active Net

Senior Development Executive Neil Woodward and Business Development Executive Noel Glenister were delighted at the positive reception DFC received when they attended Active Net on the 29th and 30th March.

Active Net is an event focused on varying leisure industry facets. Last week, hundreds of business representatives attended to network with a wealth of specialist service providers.

Following a slightly more unusual ‘buyer meets supplier’ format, Active Net is unique in that it organises specific one-on-one business meetings over the course of the event. Buyers can structure their visit around merchants that appeal to their model and this gives them a suitable timeframe to discuss their needs.

The event also boasted a number of keynote speakers from Sport England and UK Active, alongside networking slots and group insight sessions. Attendees were even able to try their hands at a Les Mills Body Combat class.

Neil commented on the fantastic response from delegates and the benefits that come with events like Active Net.

“Active Net is about making the lives of decision makers easier. Businesses can come together under one roof in a slightly more relaxed setting and share experiences.

“At events like these, we’re able to skip the drawn out phone conversations and simply get across how we do more to help businesses. We had a really positive response from everyone so it’s been very successful.”

DFC makes a habit of staying informed of industry trend and developing relationships where possible. In the coming months, they will be attending Sporta, Elevate and many other leisure-focused events.
