It’s business as usual as Debitsuccess acquires DFC

Australasia’s leading provider of e-commerce services for subscription-based businesses, Debitsuccess, announced today that it has acquired direct debit billing provider DFC (www.debitfinance.co.uk), in a move that will significantly expand the company’s international operations.

It’s a great fit for both businesses with their extensive DD expertise and family-run backgrounds. Debitsuccess, headquartered in New Zealand’s largest city of Auckland, has been operating for nearly 20 years and today processes over 20 million transactions annually for more than 3,000 businesses across Australasia. CEO, Craig Marshall, was delighted to announce the acquisition, which he says is the “culmination of a year of strategic, planned growth for the company.” He went on to add, “With a 38-year history in the UK, DFC is a prominent DD service provider that enjoys an exemplary reputation within the industry. It is an extremely good fit both culturally and operationally.”

With DFC now under the Debitsuccess banner, they have a foothold in a region of the world where there is an increasing demand for subscription services. DFC provides billing services to more than 250,000 customers in the leisure sector in the UK, as well as utilities, publishers and telecommunications providers. The company’s head office and call centre are centrally located in the city of Milton Keynes.

Lynn Young, Managing Director of DFC, is also delighted with the acquisition, and thinks that DFC will benefit greatly from the new partnership;

“This new association with Debitsuccess will add further value to our operations – firstly through sales and contact centre strategy and, secondly, through support at a governance and executive level.”

Post acquisition, the aim is to continue to deliver the highest quality of service to clients and customers as the company evolves and expands. The ongoing senior staff will continue to run the company under the new ownership structure, ensuring it’s all business as usual.
